3 Steps To Turn Your Monday Into A Fun-day!
1) Pick Up A Pen – It doesn’t have to be a pen. A pencil will do. You can even do this exercise on your phone, but I’ve found that using a pen or pencil works best.
2) Grab A Piece Of Paper – Any piece of paper will work. If you don’t have paper you can use any writing surface – a piece of wood, a wall, one of those hairless cats. Again, you can use your phone, but going old school is better.
3) Write A Gratitude List – I know! It sounds stupid! It sounds stupid because it is stupid! That doesn’t mean it’s not going to work! It will work. Trust me. You don’t have to believe it; you just have to do it.
Write down at least three things that you’re grateful for. If you don’t know where to begin, write, “I’m grateful that I have eyes that work so I could read this stupid post and write this stupid thing on my stupid gratitude list.” Then add at least two more things.
Writing a Gratitude List always makes me feel better. And I know it will make you feel better, too, even on a Monday.
