As an actor, I’ve booked over 80 commercials because I didn’t care if I booked the commercials.
I cared about auditioning for the commercials because it was the most fun part of the process.
But I only started having fun auditioning once I got good at auditioning, and I only got good at auditioning once I had auditioned for 50 or so commercials!
Once I started having fun auditioning, my auditions were better because no matter what you’re doing, the results are better when you’re having fun! (If things don’t go as planned, you don’t care because you’re having fun!)
The fun came after I put in the reps! And I started booking commercials because I wasn’t worried about the results because I was having so much fun!
